Anyone know this kids show?

When I was little, there was this DVD we had or maybe it was VCR but I watched it all of the time!! I loved it! My mom accidentally got rid of it awhile ago, and I cannot figure out what it was called. All I remember was these small parts of it. It was in segments and it was like a group of kids. There were different segments, like the kids would meet in front of is house, I remember there being a bird, too. Talkin to them and stuff. Then they would go inside the house and in the bathroom the toothbrush would talk and stuff, then they went upstairs and they had like a segment on African cats. I don't know its weird but I aware this happened. Please please help! This is really important to me!
