Does anyone know what vcr player I need for a 1980 jvc ky 2000 broadcast camera?

i am surprized that your camera is still working since it is not a CCD type. tubes usually go "soft" after 20 years. you need a VCR that has analog video input, a 30 years old one would match the camera. my recommendation is to get a miniDV type recording deck. any Sony DVcam deck will work, as will Panasonic DV2000 and JVC BRDV3000 both only available used. expect to pay $1000 for one in reasonable condition. miniDV beside better quality than VHS, can connect to a computer with firewire for subsequent editing.
