Is Dazzle making the colors fade on my VHS recordings?

I'm working on copying my old VHS's to DVDs. To do this, I am using Dazzle (made by Pinnacle) to capture the video and then importing everything into the Studio (and burning a disc). However, the colors are faded in the video captured (ex. many light colors, especially light blues, have become white). When I play the original VHS in the VCR, the colors are fine. So, is this color-fading a problem with Dazzle? Is there anything I can do about it? Please help!
