Does anyone know the name of this childhood movie?

I'm 14, and I watched it when I was like 4 to 6. It was a VCR tape. There were 2 creatures, one was pink and one was older, I think green. The green one got like a green start that glowed on its hand and it like howled. It creeped me out when I was little and it's really bothering me that I can't remember. Anyone know?
