Headset question for PS3?

I originally purchased Socom, which came bundled with the ''official'' Sony Bluetooth headset. Worked great at first, but after several months I started having battery issues (normal ''wear & tear'' I suppose) & even worse people couldn't hear me. Though, it seemed to work fine via my phone, just not withmy PS3. Long story short, I went old school & purchased this USB headset which seemed to be the best value in that category. Sure, it may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts. No need to worry about the hassle of charging it & that's the main selling point for me.
